FAQ & policies

The short version of everything

Quick answers up top, the booking and weather policies in plain words below. If anything's unclear, call or WhatsApp and a human answers.

How many people can come?

Up to 12 passengers of all ages, every charter.

Do we need passports?

Only on the USVI to BVI trip, where every guest needs a valid passport and about $80 per person in cash for BVI customs. USVI Only and BVI Only trips need no passports.

What's included?

Ice, drinking water, cooler space for your drinks and snacks, snorkel gear, swim noodles, a Bluetooth sound system, an on-board restroom, and freshwater showers.

What about fuel?

Fuel is metered on usage and settled at the end of the day, so you only ever pay for the day you actually ran.

Where do you pick up?

Anywhere on St. Thomas or St. John for USVI departures, or anywhere in the BVI for BVI Only trips. Some docks charge their own fees, which pass through at cost.

Can you stock the boat for us?

Yes. Send a detailed list with brands and amounts up to 48 hours ahead and it's waiting on ice. Receipt total plus a 20% provisioning fee is added at closeout.

What happens if the weather turns?

Rescheduling is free up to 24 hours out, so we watch the forecast together and move early when we can. Unsafe days that can't be rescheduled are refunded in full. Safe-but-iffy days you choose to skip are refunded 50%.

Can someone pay who isn't on the boat?

Yes. Deposits are paid by secure link, so a parent, an assistant, or the office can book and pay from anywhere.

Booking & weather policies

Fair, simple, and in writing

The same rules for every guest, built so a good weather call never turns into an argument.

20% deposit books your date

A minimum 20% deposit is required for every booking. Fuel, customs fees, add-ons, and gratuity are settled at the end of the day based on usage, even on trips paid in full up front.

Free rescheduling up to 24 hours out

Move an existing booking at no charge up to 24 hours in advance, subject to availability, to any date within one year. Inside 24 hours, a reschedule or cancellation forfeits the deposit.

Cancellations inside 72 hours

Trips cancelled for any reason within 72 hours of the charter forfeit the deposit.

Unsafe weather: full refund

If conditions are unsafe for guests or the boat and the trip can't be rescheduled, it's cancelled and refunded 100%. No fuss.

Iffy weather: meet in the middle

If the day is safe but looks uncomfortable, the call is yours. When an uncomfortable-weather trip can't be rescheduled and you choose not to go, it's refunded 50%. Watching the forecast together and moving the date early is always free.

Your day on the water is one deposit away.

Pick a route, pick a date, and we'll handle everything between the dock and the last swim of the day.
